Threat (Horde)

Threat (Horde)

Do you Horde Warlocks find yourself threat capped at all during raids? Or is this something that you don't really run in to until later tiers, when you start getting better itemization?

Reason I'm asking is I'm considering a MD/Ruin spec. I thought Improved Imp would be nice for the tank group and the 20% threat reduction might sometimes provide a dps boost by raising the threat ceiling. I'm not sure if it would be worth it over an SM/Ruin spec or 27/3/21 spec though, with the big thing being Imp. Lifetap

Imp. Imp :^) bloodpact gives 12 more stamina, its nice to have, but you should never skill 27/3/21 and sacrefice 6% dmg for it. In MC thread shouldnt be a problem, even with better gear. 0/30/21 is an option for BWL. For last phase of razorgore you probably need 20% aggro reduce, vael depending on how good your tanks are, suppressionrooms and lashlayer as much aggro reduce as possible, firemaw probably some aswell, chrommagus depends on how lucky u are with the vulnerabilities and nef maybe some aggro reduce to.

I was under the impression Warlocks rarely got a Shaman in their group and they usually went to melee/tanks/healers? Am I mistaken?

when you start seeing the SB crit numbers we do (4.2k+), our 'lock' group is 4 locks and a shaman
