Wanding and casting afterwards

Does anyone else have difficulty with wanding and switching to a spell? It's difficult to time a drain soul properly sometimes because the wanding is messing with the GCD so much. Is there anyway around this or is this just a personal problem?

Every Wand attack triggers the GCD depending on your Wand Speed although there's a basic GCD of (I think) 1.5 seconds. You may just need to attack one less time than usual and use your Drain Soul earlier.

or if you are wanding but need to replace your DoTs, id stop wanding with 2 secs left on the DoT timer
