Players are not able accept a summon received within an instance after leaving it.

IE: Receive summon > hearth to repair/buy reagent > accept summon.

Afaik not a bug. This was never possible until 2.4. (Well not intended anyway, think a bug made it possible a while.)

It was indeed possible - and used - in Retail Vanilla.

Also, summoning in general really fucks up your character. I wasn't able to mouse-turn nor casting any spell after summoning someone yesterday evening. I had to die and relog several times in order to fix it!

Please provide a proof for the dev team to fix it :)

This is not true, it was added late in TBC: "Patch 2.4.0 (25-Mar-2008): Ritual of Summoning can be used to summon players into instances if they meet the instance requirements."

Patch 2.4.0 (25-Mar-2008): Ritual of Summoning can be used to summon players into instances if they meet the instance requirements.

Not quite the same thing as the OP describes it. He talks about re-entering the instance after leaving it.

Summon -> Summoning received -> hearthstone -> change spec / repair items -> accepting summon -> back in raid.

You are talking about completely different things.

What the OP describes as a bug is the fact that if a player receives a summon in an instance, from another player, who is also in that instance, then hearthstones out of the instance before the summoning timer has expired, he is unable to accept the summon.

What you are referencing is the patch in which Blizzard made it possible for players to summon other players, who are not in their instance, directly into it.

P.S. Regarding OP's bug report, I do not know whether it's a bug or blizzlike. I just wanted to clarify that the evidence presented so far is not pertinent to the discussion.

That's not what he claimed. After 2.4, you could summon player into an instance if the player was outside but met the instance requirements, ok. This was definitely not possible during Vanilla, and it's not possible on Nostalrius.
The question raised above is wether the following was possible or not : I'm in an instance an I summon a player that is already in the instance (same instanced zone, summoning works) BUT the summoned players Hearthstones to repair or whatever and then accepts the TP to be back in the instance.

The logic would tend to say that the TP popup should disappear if you change of instanced area, or just display an error message if you accept a TP porting you to somewhere located in a different instance, but someone above said it was actually possible during Vanilla.

In which case a proof would be nice :)
