Suppression: Doomguard sumon quest

I can't complete this quest, the "Glowing Crystal Prison", doesn't work, i've cast it on a doomguard commander but it doesn't turn in to the object i have to collect (Imprisoned Doomguard). I've also tried to cast it while it dies, but nothing happens.
I know Doomguard sumon is almost useless, but i really wanted to get it, and not being able to achive this is quite disturbing.
Do you know if is there something that can be donne?
