Voidwalker doing absolutely zero threat all of a sudden?

Since yesterday, my voidwalker hasn't been able to hold aggro at all. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Before, I'd be able to dot up anything and fire away with shadowbolts no problem. Now i can't even apply my dots before pulling aggro, and the taunt doesn't seem to affect the enemies in any way.

I do realize that the voidwalker isn't supposed to be an amazing tank, but something has definitely changed. It went from great to completely useless over night, zero gear or level changes.

Yeah same problem here.

Yea, it's pretty annoying. Thought I had forgotten a rank or something, but it's definitely generating a lot less threat.

They made a fix for some spells towards threat and torment is one of them.

But yeah, void is now useless

I think almost everyone noticed the huge nerf because it's too much ! Yeah the VW was not that high in threat but come on, 2 dot and you take aggro... it's a bit much and I don't remember it worked that way back then.

Anyway, dunno if devs have plans to change this so any of you has tested with 3/3 talent for the VW ( +30% efficiency on his spells ) ?

Yeah, I tried it. It is better, still not as before they nerfed it, but Its more Blizzlike. I went full demonology spec, and I have to say, its not crap at all (as I was thinking it would be). I guess you were affliction, as most of locks are, so you will be missing some talents, thats for sure. But overall time to kill mobs is same, maybe even faster since VW now holds aggro (in 90% of case).

If you still have problems with VW after respec to demonology, delete WTF and WTB folders in your WOW file. That helped me. You will for certan see the difference, but be sure that there will be times when you will simply overaggro your tank, but that as I said is normal. I leveled warlock back in Vanilla and I remember how was it leveling with VW.

I've tried using the demonology talents that boost the voidwalkers spells. It almost makes no difference, it may cause a little bit of less ago taking on the locks part, but the difference is miniscule.

Im only lvl30 atm. But for this level i'd say the vw threat is relatively close to what it used to be. It was never possible to dot up and shadowbolt away without him losing aggro.
Cannot speak for higher ranks of torment though. Rank 3 seems fine.

I pull aggro off of him just by spamming drain life or wanding, something is definitely not right.

I am only lvl 17 atm. But I have rarely pulled threat from Void...

I use all 3 DoTs (CoA, Immolate, Corruption) and then either Drain Life or Wand, still dont pull threat.


Is it because I am low lvl? At around lvl 12 I was pulling threat every 2nd mob, but it hasnt happened in the last couple of days.
