Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

My warlock on Nost was very close to level 60 so I've been doing research on the epic mount questline for when the server re-releases. I've read that the quest originally required 3 Arcanite Bars, but was later nerfed down to 1 Arcanite bar. Does anyone know which number is accurate in the current build that the new server will be on? I can't seem to find in what patch they made that change.

The change was made in 2.X. The accurate amount in 1.X is 3 Arcanite Bars .
