Druid Feral viable on raid for DPS ?

The main issue is that for the first long while, it's barely possible to gear a feral druid. The spec isn't itemized properly until AQ40. Prior to that, there's a tiny selection of valid items in each raid zone. Performance-wise, ferals are still okay despite this, but it makes it a very awkward spec to play as you don't progress in the same way.

I want know if on Vanilla, the druid Feral is viable on raid for dps because i like it but my objective is above all of raid so can i try or it's really hard to find raid with this classe ?
