I disagree and prefer putting 3 talent points in Feral Instinct as it helps sneaking past NPCs to get certain quest items and is also extremely useful on PVP servers, but I guess it's a matter of personal preference.

It pretty much doesn't matter in any case, but in terms of what helps you the most in combat, FA is definitely the best. It's worth at least 5% mitigation when tanking, and it is technically a DPS boost as well. Nothing else is. Untalented stealth is sufficient for all level-appropriate content.

I think its suicidal to skip pvp talents on a server THIS populated.
Also the bearform crit talent is too good to not skip, lets you aoe down some weaker mobs and once again helps in pvp.

For pure dps/mitigation gain you're right of course, but - as Moxey stated - I would never trade the "security" of improved prowl for that. Well, to each his own...

I've found a guide on feral levelling back from Vanilla days of December 2005. It's a not and absolute truth, I suppose, but still a very interesting read. I would like to share it with you guys.

I think for a leveling build, putting points into improved shred is a mistake. You'll only be shredding immediately after a pounce and the reduced damage won't lower it enough to squeeze an extra shred in before the stun wears off.

Also I think talenting for improved stealth is of marginal benefit. You shouldn't spend too much time in stealth as is, all moving around in stealth does is Nerf your movement speed most of the time. The increased damage you do by opening from stealth is offset by the extra downtime you spend setting up your opener. Just pull with FFF and claw them down.

Actually with fairie fire bug, I can put 2 point in shred with the exact same spec. So It's worth It atm.
They need to fix this bug tho. and no improved stealth is a waste anyway. I'm speaking pvp POV not pve.
