Faerie Fire (Feral) talent icon and talent points counter

Harm wrote:When taking this talent you get the skill, but the icon is still greyed out and the point spent disappears from the Points spent in Feral Combat Talents counter showing 1 less point than I should ahve at this lvl. I do not know if this means I have to wait an extra lvl to get the next tier of talents or if it is just a display bug.
I have also tried to respec twice and it did not change anything.

Very very gamebreaking bug for our tree atm, could be nice to be fixed asap pls :(((

Added all new bug reports to the list.

Also added priority tags to the bugs based on my personal opinion - if you disagree, let me know.

@ Guirssane
This should be just a visual bug - you can still spend all of your talent points.
At least that's how it worked on every single private Vanilla realm I played so far.

(Talented) Prowl + stealth detection (HIGH PRIORITY)
Keftenk wrote:Is it intended that a level 22 Hunter pet is able to see me through a 3-talented Feral Instinct + NE racial? I didn't attack any target, I was stealthed from a distance and I wasn't marked. I was perhaps 15yd away trying to sneak up on my target and the pet aggroed me from quite a distance.
I'm level 25 by the way.

balsh wrote:And for the stealth bug I've reported earlier it's about the warning the mobs should do when you get close (they should stop moving and make a noise when you're close to be detected, there is none atm).

I did some additional testing and now I'm wondering if I may have right-clicked on the Hunter's pet. Or perhaps player pets and NPC pets work differently. Anyways, I was screwing around killing Warlock mobs that had their Voidwalkers out when I noticed that every freaking pet that I've come across in this game is flagged yellow.

So I clicked on one. Then I right clicked on one and it immediately aggroed. Did I mention I was in Stealth? Yea. I was stealthed from a distanced and I right clicked on the yellow flagged Voidwalker (to initiate auto-attack) and it aggrod me from as max distance as I could get. Pretty messed up, right?

Perhaps this is what happened when I faced that Hunter. Both the Hunter's pet and the NPC's Warlock pets could seek me out as if I wasn't stealthed. I haven't been able to retest this on a PC's pet in PvP, but everyone else can try it out on a NPC's pet (and PC's pet).

Multiple Entangling Roots
balsh wrote:Entangling roots:
You can cast as many Entangling roots as you want at the same time on multiple targets (with nature grasp as well).
Only one Entangling roots should be active, the previous one should break as soon as you cast a new one. (like sheep for mages, the debuff should only affect one target)

I think this is intended on Nostalrius.
I am sure this was already discussed in old Nostalrius forums. Sadly they are no more accessible. I think there was a link to the proof that you could use this spell on 2 targets in vanilla. That probably wasn't intended by Blizzard though, but this is not the discussion.
Whatever, we need profs before changing this.

I have noticed this on several occasions while (right?) clicking mobs from a distance - a distance large enough for them not to aggro me - yet they did.
So this could very well be the reason.

You seem to be right.

TBC Patch 2.2.0 (2007-09-25):
It is no longer possible to have Entangling Roots on two targets at the same time in the outdoor world.
http://wow.gamepedia.com/Entangling_Roots

I will remove it from the list then.

I'm about 99% sure you couldn't cast on multiple targets and that patch note might be a hotfix for a bug that would have shown up.
Also found this http://thedruidsgrove.org/archive/wow/t-11549.html which is anterior to patch 2.2.0.
I'll still be looking for some proof. I have also a video from vanilla I did back then on my HDD might upload it later.

Hm, you're right. Maybe I jumped the gun.
Gonna put it back on the list until final clarification.

@Kelftenk
Maybe you could do some further testing about that aggro issue and if it turns out to be more of a right-click than actually a prowl/stealth bug report it anew?

I'm starting to think that the Feral talent Predatory Strikes isn't correctly adding Attack Power per level. Can anyone confirm?

Possibly related: as a hunter, when I right click a hostile mob and my pet is in defensive mode, my pet attacks the mob. I'm almost certain that's not right either. Somehow right-clicking is being interpreted as aggression, not just selection + start attack.
