The tooltips and the actual AP gain don't match, but maybe the tooltips are - once again (just as Bear Form HP gain) - incorrect.
Still, the actual numbers seem too high: In caster form I have 90 AP - in Cat Form 259 (Bear Form 252) AP.
That's a lot.

Maybe Daemon could provide the correct formula?

The tool tip is saying it's increasing my melee attack power by 82 plus Agility. So, that would mean I'm getting 131 AP in total just from Cat Form, right? From this we can see that I get an additional 2 AP from Cat Form per level from level 20. For instance, my level is 41 and I obtained Cat Form at 20. 41-20=21. Starting at 40+AGI base, we just need to do some basic math to figure out that 82-40=42/21 levels=2 AP per level.

Predatory Strikes is +150% * LV in AP. Example: 41*150%= +61.5 AP (WoW rounds down, so +61 AP)

68 AP is my base.
276 AP is my Cat Form base.
358 AP is my final Cat Form AP with the +82 AP from the form.

I'm confused how I go from 68 to 276 with what I have available...

1 agi = 1 ap
1 str = 2 ap

the order should be irrelevant because we are just adding numbers up -- there's no AP multiplier

on my druid, it is pretty clearly just applying the 2*lvl bonus twice. I have:

- 76 AP in caster form
- level 21 (no heart of the wild)
- 51 agility

In cat form I have 211 AP

that's exactly 42 AP more than I should have. And it was like this at level 20 as well

Currently, the Faerie Fire (Feral) talent gets "unlearned" (see attachment) when you learn the rank2 of the spell.

This makes it possible to spend another point on the spec thus losing 1 talent point for nothing.
Thing is, feral spells, specifically shapeshifting spells get "unlearned" as new ranks are learned, overwriting the current ones. This can be major

First of: what is this "by 50" - a flat AP addition based on your level?

Formula:
Base AP + Agi + 2*Str + Talent (Predatory Strikes) + Flat Level Modifier?

it's a flat, non-scaling AP bonus, so in the long run when you get gear it won't make much difference

yes, 50 is 2*lvl, so you must be level 25
