How many ranks of Healing Touch do you use?

Hi!

I have limited experience of level 60 healing (i am a child of the lifebloom era).
Therefore i would love some help on what ranks of HT (i guess you don't downrank rejuv and regrowth?) you use. Right now i am rocking rank 4 for most of the time and max rank when my target is taking heavy damage or combined with NS.

Let's assume something like your average pre-bis gear with a resto spec.

I use 3.
HT3, HT4, and HT10

For 5-mans generally a Regrowth + Rejuvenation is enough where I can /afk heal unless its a big pull or spike damage.

Im using rank 3/4 and 10.

HT3: Raid Healing
HT4: Tank Healing or 5-man Healing
HT7: Heavy-damage tank healing or when many people low
HT10: Emergency with NS or when the Warlocks are being silly and lifetapping to no hp.
Rejuv: Mobile mana dump- usually on Warlocks during Lifetap or Hellfire.
Regrowth: Emergency Heal when I am not in danger of running oom / sometimes try to keep it on the tank.
Bandage: When I'm worried about mana and the Warlocks are Lifetapping.

...Unless it gets a lot of bonus healing, that is, but I thought the lower ranks didn't get as much +healing as the later ranks.

Hello!
As HT you should use mainly R4. The other usable ranks are R3, R7 and ofc the highest rank.
You should not downrank regrowth since the mana cost scales really unefficiently with lower ranks of the spell.

For reju you should use max rank on tanks and people who take lots of dmg depending on bossfight.
For the rest you should use r6 or r4 depending on your +heal. (If you have low +heal use r6)
From my own experience I'd say rejuing costs more mana but it is more effective healingwise.
