Because ally druid can benefit from pala ap blessing, and tauren druid can't benefit from shamans windfury, from which horde warriors and rogues benefits very well. Thats why i think tauren druid wont be able to reach higher place on dps meter than horde warrior\rogue\mage with ~same gear, buffs and efforts (at least on current progression stage of the server [no bwl\zg\aq]).

For more precise dps calculation use swstats instead of damagemeter. As far as i'm aware damagemeter calculating for only 30 yards by default, and you have to mess with .lua file to change this value.
