I have a few questions pertaining to the Balance spec for the Druids. Such has does it have a lot of utility to alongside its damage in general, PvP or PvE.

Does it deal good damage over all? If no is it only good dps in PvP or PvE?

Is it decent to level with or just I just make a Feral druid to level?

Can Balance druids heal in emergencies?

I have always liked Balance druids as I found them fun (In Wraith) but this is way different from Wraith and I want to see if I can still enjoy the spec.

My understanding is good burst damage, but they struggle with mana.

Terrible to level with, you will need to drink after every single fight. Level as feral.
Can Balance druids heal in emergencies?
Yes.
WotLK was when they became actually decent, Balance life is a struggle. But they give a good buff so there is some want for them.
