Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

New druid here. Loving it so far. however, I've noticed that my weapon skills don't increase when in Bear form. Do weapon skills matter when shapeshifted? I assume melee damage when shapeshifted is still based on your weapon damage, just not your weapon skill?

So feral drus just want weapons for stats and for when they do some melee outside of bear/cat?

Technically, when you shift out of form and are in attacking state, you should instantly swing your weapon but something is wrong with swing timers on this server when switching out of form. Big weapons could be used for a slight dps increase when power-shifting.
