How many folks leveling as Feral are planning on switching to Resto? When are you planning on switching?

My current plan is to switch at 55 so I can get practice healing and get into dungeons easier. Also, at 55 you can fill out the Resto tree with everything except the buffs to Cat and Dire Bear, so you'll have the full beginner's skill set to work from.

What are people's thoughts on this? Is 55 too soon?

Starting to think of this too. Need some feedback.

Depends how desperate you are to get into raids and how much you enjoy feral vs resto.

I will play feral tank/dps hybrid while i gear and get a stable economy. I will pick up resto pieces that the healer in my group does not need.
Eventually i will spec full resto and get the rest of my gear and start raiding.

Down the road i will spec hybrid so i can both heal raids and pvp efficiently.

Tanks are in more demand than healers. Stay Feral until you start raiding.

I'm not the best tank by any stretch. And overall I prefer healing. So we'll see.

Just spec feral-resto. You get the benefit from the resto tree all the way up to Nature's Swiftness, and also a big bump to your mana pool from Heart of the Wild, which is usually awfully low when you hit 60.

I'd not respec until you hit 60 anyways. Feels pointless to slow down levelling to do a few dungeons those last 5 levels.
