talking about PvP ... i got like 5k mana and i still oom in 10-20 sec no other class oom that fast except myb elemental mages.. i even tend not to use cl or shock spells coz they cost way to much mana anyway just want to know since i never played vanilla.. does the mana problem get less noticeable with gear.. ?

Elemental Shaman will always have mana problems. So in short, no, it will not get better.

You won't have sufficient spell power until Naxx to kill 3-4 people before running out of mana, and even then that's only if the stars align and you crit with every spell. Your best bet is to make good friends with the Mages in your guild or that you group with and politely request a ton of food/water before you PvP. It'll be less brutal once DM is released and Mages have good water.
