Resto Shaman Consumable Farming

Thinking of rolling a shaman on the new PVE server, but I'm not sure whether I want to commit myself to long farming sessions to prepare for raids. I've heard that Holy priests have a tough time but don't know how resto shamans fair. Could anyone give me an idea of how many hours one would typically need to farm per week as a resto shaman? How do they compare to the other healing roles, and how do they compare to DPS in general?Thanks in advance!
