Hi fellow lightening bolt hurlers. I have two builds that I would like your feedback and advice on.

As you know Nostalrius is a PVP server so is the following build good for questing and PVP?
http://www.wowprovider.com/Old.aspx?tal ... 155003151p

This second build is very interesting. It is an Elemental / Retro hybrid specifically for PVP. This build emphasizes Nature's Swiftness instead of Elemental Mastery.

Thank you.

http://www.wowprovider.com/?talent=1121 ... 50100First spec is a suicidal approach which is highly viable while lvlin.
For endgame get improved gohst wolf and 2 sec on grounding instead of 5% dodge .
On elemental get improved earthbind and max pushback avoid instead of elemental devastation.
Playstyle of this spec is go in try kill or die.. point for my talentchanges is the fact that you are not always the one to engage first but rather get jumped... in the end your a meele rng class
Try a spec like
http://www.wowprovider.com/?talent=1122 ... 3510010100
For a more survival based approach too and see how u like it

Your second ,elemental approach is better twercked like this

http://www.wowprovider.com/?talent=1121 ... 0410050100

Remember in the end your a hybrid support class jack off all trades.
In order to get max potential out of the shaman u need to plan ahead a bit:-)
Enjoy your ride and even it will be a rocky way, in the end the shaman is a great asset and welcome in any bg situation based teamfights, and can turn the tides of war:-)

Really like those improvements, especially in the Resto branch. Thanks! :)

I highly recommand that kind of spec while lvling and pvping with a low gear score :
http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#hxZVibdV0utxbIz

Ancestral knowledge is not good for an enhancement spec, it gives only 250 more mana while in full equipment. Prefer shield spec instead, usefull when you'll have to counter a burst with a weapon switch (shield of course).
Anticipation is not good against War.

Prefer improved healing wave for a fast healing when needed than tidal focus that is a pve talent.

Here is a template i'd like to try when I'll have enough melee and spell hit (+ spell crit) :

But in a long long time i guess...

This one should be perfect with a discipline priest at your back, and his power infusion.

Why take both shield specialization and 2 hand axes and maces?
Those 5 points or 1 point could be used elsewhere

That's what i explain in my reply, Meegy :

Elemental Devastation is a terrible terrible awful bad talent and if you take it you should feel ashamed.

Look at your spell crit %, consider how often you cast spells, then from those work out how much crit % you are gaining from the buff uptime from those 3 talent points.

Hint: it will be somewhere between fuck and all.

How come? I'm honestly curious why 5% more dodge chance isn't useful, especially against warriors.
