Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Could shamans tank at any point?
I was just looking into enhancement and it seems there are quite a few talents that would indicate shamans are able to be beefy.
It seems like they are able to pull / hold aggro well too.
Any thoughts?
