Question Regarding Leveling

Hello all, I want to level a paladin but I had a few questions first.

My endgame goal is to heal so I was wondering is it possible to level to 60 holy? Will killing stuff take an extremely long amount of time etc?

Also if I have to level ret, is it possible to heal all the instances up until 60 as ret?

I re-rolled on PvE server as Holy, I am able to tank, heal and DPS with my AOE, Ret can DPS better when leveling, but overall I am can do anything as holy.

One of my guild mates leveled as Holy and said it wasn't that bad. I would suggest just going 20 points to get Divine Favor, then going 30 in Ret so you have some offense for leveling and PvP, while still being able to heal everything up to 60.

You should be able to heal, tank, or DPS up to end-game regardless of your spec - although you'll be more efficient if your spec and your role match. My Paladin is 33 and I really enjoy tanking in dungeons, but I'm specced Holy/Retribution.

I might get him to 60 and then just do PvP while I wait for BC.

best leveling spec is straight to consecration in holy, then prot. your damage will be fine aslong as your have some +str pieces and keep seal of crusader going. you can heal any 5 man while leveling as any class that can heal regardless of spec, you just need +int gear thats close in level

You can be whatever on any Spec. But:

Play your Spec and Role.

In my Dungeons for example i would never ever get Ret or Prot to Heal me, neither Ret/Holy to Tank or Holy/Prot to dps.
