This is an easier fight if you are a proc warrior. You get your own 5 second stun, shield slam to remove buff(s), use fear / bandage combo. If you have improved revenge it is really easy.

If the paladin has 1h+shield and he is not with full healing gear 99% of the time warr either dies or has to run away. No way you can kill a skilled paladin who has 1h+shield. No matter what spec/tactic you choose you cant outlast a paldin who uses a shield.

Uta ingame paladin. Bring me a worthy warr I accept challenges.

Since Skill is the key word in this post....
What if the paladin is lesser skilled the the warrior? does that mean the warrior is going to win?

I mean clearly skill will always be a questionable debate, But if you get right down to it, Bleeds are the only real thing warriors have to really hurt a paladin after they bubble, (since bubble would removed all bleeds).

Now... why would a prot pally take on a prot warrior, I have like No idea. its like watching holy paladin vs holy paladin in full healing gear... WHAT IS THE POINT?

Now if we do this duel, a warrior imo would have an upper hand, but this.. is just my opinion. now unless the paladin is healing none stop (which they dont do when tanking)
Silly way to test this.. before you stp up fully geared 440 def, enchanted to the T, try both warriro/paladin d1 geared, same shields, same one hander (lets say ironfoe for shitz n giggles) spank n tank just liek you would a boss. See who wins.

again this is just MY opinion. I don't expect anyone to agree/disagree. to me its all stupid nonsense that people do for boredom.
if I roll prot, Im pve, I dont pvp as prot. I pvp as ret for pvp, and arms for pvp. I win more as a paladin then I do as a warrior, but hey, that's just me.

d1 is not tank gear for paladin. it is retri gear.

Well, while that is correct, its not really even considered ret pally gear imo, but that wasn't the point, cuz again warrior d1 isnt for tanking either...
I think you skipped ahead and just make your own comments, so go back and re-read to see the point I was making, but again.. yes, technically you are correct. you just missed the point I was making entirely.

I did not mean Prot Paladin with 1h+shield. I meant a retri with 1h+shield for more armor and survivability against a warrior's burst. You know sometimes you just have to switch to Sword and Board to outlast your enemy. If a Retri paladin switches to 1h+shield he has better chances of outlasting and killing a warrior.

I did not mean to say that better skilled paladin will beat a warrior with less pvp skill in my last post, that was not my point there. I may have mislead you, sorry. When a paladin has a shield on he does have the upper hand against Warriors and Rogues. And if skill+gear is all equal the paladin should always be able to defeat his opponent.

P.S: lol my late responce...
