Crusader or Command?

Crusader or Command?

The thing that makes me want to use just Crusader instead is that the faster attacking results in more often procs (fiery and weapon proc). But I'm not sure.
Playing a 29 paladin.

About what? The SoC dealing full damage bug has been reported since server start, just like consecration and now Holy Light 43% coefficient. No one seems to give a shit, so whatever. Also JotC adds full damage to SoComm so that can be worth using, also a bug.

There is a lot of Theory Hammer and Math Hammer going on in another thread on SoC. So what's the executive summary for SoC vs. SotC as far as single target DPS is concerned?

    Just SotC?
    Just SoC?
    Judge SotC and Soc?
Judge SotC, SoC, and judge SoC (repeat)?
Judge SotC, SoC, HoJ, and judge SoC (repeat)?

To throw a wrench into the mix: PvE vs. PvP? In PvE, you want to do the most damage while being the most mana efficient to maximize up-time. In PvP - namely world PvP when a Rogue jumps you - you just want to burn someone down as fast as possible.

Has anyone done any DPS comparisons here? I'll have SoC on my Paladin in a few levels and can do this myself and report back if not.

my advice as PVE , also what i have seen during my dungeon groups.

Paladins with Command does lot more damage than Crusader .

(Take or buy slowest strongest 2h Weapon for your level) and go for Command.

https://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=23701

you could take a look toward this .

Judge of crusade your Target and use Command - (currently judge of crusade) will increase tons of damage toward your command since it is overpowered.

Gear - str with int or agi with int (example finger in deadmine). ;)

I appreciate the answer!
However, what about PvP? I did mention in the OP that I play a 29 pally.
The slow attack speed (3.20s) combined with no instant attacks other than the occasional SoC judge makes me feel so weak, even though I'm decked out with great gear and enchants.
Except when I crit (11% chance) and SoC proc (and fiery and weapon proc, feels gud) at the same time, of course. Sometimes I take out hordies in two hits. Sometimes it takes forever (especially priests...).
So, are you sure SoC is still better for PvP?

you need 3.6 - 4.0 wep speed when using seal of comand for the best proc rate
when using faster weapon use seal of the crusader

this is a prock chance when using comand (this is an coppy from thelores topic in another forum) :D
but you can check http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Procs_per_minute
[ 7 / (60 / 3.2) ] = 37.3% proc chance
[ 7 / (60 / 3.3) ] = 38.5% proc chance
[ 7 / (60 / 3.4) ] = 39.6% proc chance
[ 7 / (60 / 3.5) ] = 40.8% proc chance
[ 7 / (60 / 3.6) ] = 41.9% proc chance
[ 7 / (60 / 3.7) ] = 43.1% proc chance
[ 7 / (60 / 3.8) ] = 44.3% proc chance

Don't forget that axe from SM can multiply the procs (since whirlwind it delay 1 or 2 procs) .
Only horrible is the JoTc refreshing if it work by ww or not .
