I'm also guessing he was probably twinked out. In fact a good twink hunter will be tough for you to beat. On my level 29 twink hunter, back in the day, i could regularly pound warriors in their 40's. I think my best was a level 50 or 51.

As others have said, go with engineering and build iron grenades
