banned? lol'd. .. you are trying to troll?,, right. Reported for provocations .

Using Spell damage weapon with spell damage enchant and spell damage consumes we no longer need any wasted 5 points on "improved seal of righteous" since our maintarget threats will skyrock.

divine intellect in other hand help us have full control on max ranks "consecrations" and spam more often our "holy shields" to survive better.

I am merely asking what good for the community. but enough about that. you can list me as foe on your control panel and it will ignore me (please do this if you have personal issues)

as for the 5/5 SoR if what you say will sky rocket, then Imp SoR will help it even more. Again leave it as a difference of opinion instead of trying to make everyone agree with you. Just agree to disagree and move on.

You want community to troll if someone disagree?. lol
you also have the same option if you think that is good for you.

If our threats already skyrock with sp weapon, sp ench, sp consumes i rather spam my holy shield to survive better and divine intellect help for that. just agree to disagree with me and don't reply after this of what i have said.

Just a question since you disagree with me Jcarroll .

Did you ever tanked raids and what is your best progress as Paladin Tank ?

Guys, as I am friends with both you, please allow me to offer my 2 cents - the beauty of playing a Paladin allows us to try different playstyles/specs to our hearts content.

That's the fun an challenge of playing this class in Vanilla WoW.

Different strokes for different folks - try what works best for you.

That being said, we have enough of a hard time dealing with legitimate forum trolls trying to STFUANDHEAL, LOLRET or LOLPROT us to death that we don't need to fight amongst ourselves.

If I were to go div int I would get 10% more int which is what.. 8.3% more int?

It would be 8.3 more Int. Not 8.3%.

200 intellect overall that would be 20 intellect from divine intellect . 200 extra mana = 3 judgements extra used.

good luck.

Actually 1 Point of Int is 15 Mana. So it would be 300 Mana.

BTT @ Mousepad

There are many ways to enjoy paladin tanking.

Consecration is simply the most important paladin tanking tool, so if you want to run some dungeons then get it as quickly as possible.

With proper management you can actually tank without needing to drink every 1-2 pulls. At the moment im tanking 5mans with my Paladin (Uta) and I hardly ever have to drink. I drink only when everyone else is since nothing better to do.

My secret- Use Seal of the Crusader + Consecration ranks 1, 3 and 5, Bless of Might and Retribution Aura. Depending on situation you throw low or high rank consecration.

For tanking trash in 5 mans:
I usually throw 1 max rank consecration at the start of fight on trash and let the mana I lost regen and throw a rank 1 after 10-15 sec if I have mana to waste. It is usually more than enough to hold aggro because trash doesn't have that much HP and they are dead before dps/heal get a chance to overagro.
Always mark targets and make sure the dps is hitting the one you are else you will have to waste more mana to get aggro back after some nab was bursting a mob and overagroed, and then cry that you are a bad tank. If dps is too stronk and constantly pulls agro even from main target and then cry, Bless them Salvation as punishment, tell em to watch their aggro next time.

If you hold aggro just fine without Seal of the Crusader (+att power that increases Consecration tick by about 25) and BoM (another +14 Consecration dmg per tick), then feel free to use Seal of Wisdom and Blessing of Wisdom for crazy mana regen. With Seal of Wisdom you do the same thing, when the mana you lost from casting consecration is back cast another one . With SoW +BoW I usually spam 2 max rank Consecrations then wait for mana to regen then throw rank 1 or 3 when you feel you got too much mana. Since Consecration will be doing much less dmg and im Retri without the Imp Righteous Fury talent.

For tanking the Bosses:
For Boses you want to make sure dps noobs wait a few seconds for you to properly open on the boss. First throw a Judge wisdom on him then just Seal of Crusader and Consecration max rank spam till you totally oom.
After that you just spam whatever rank you have mana for till the end of fight. Usually with 30-40 mana regen per tick+ Judge wisdom proccing you should always have enough mana for rank 1 each 8 sec. Don't forget you may need some extra mana for resealing after 30 sec if the fight is longer.

P.S: Stop OOMing like a total noob. Be tanky, be awesome!!!

on the bosses part - precast holy shield , seal of crusade - judge - seal of righteous - drink and enjoy your coffee with auto attacks. 500 mana wasted in total. consecration worthless but do it for fun only.

Yes, but not all paladins are prot specced when tanking dungeons. Else I agree about the "enjoy your coffe with auto attacks" part rofl. And consecration is not worthless in bossfights because +dps is always good .

P.S:
Fk a hater. Pala Tank Bis dungeon DPS beat us on the meters in 5mans if u can rofl.

Id recommend gegting the 10 int. In raids you.are not always going to be tanking. You are a great OT best aoe tank, and when you are not needed for these roles, put healing gear on for that pull.

That 10 percent mana is suddenly viable.

That can be true , but i consider Tank Spec as Tank , and planing to play my role.
+ In raids i always used to tank , Bosses or NPC , MT or OT . Maybe some Bosses doesn't require much Tanks but there are Plenty Bosses that need some Backup.
(Paladin as Tank) using enough # of Spell Damage is always 2nd on List on Aggro . If Maintank die then you are far more viable to be next Tank that Boss will go for than Healing.
Since many Bosses are immune to Taunt , many Warriors Tanks as offtanks are worthless , but Paladins as Tank is Savior due its high amount of TPS.

Whoever want Healing can just get new Healer and enjoy.

Yeah the arguement works both ways. But I am a fan of versitility. You are correct on a taunt immune boss a pally is the better OT due to tps generation without needing to take hits for rage.
