I talk about how much increase Divine Intellect gives me when i use consumes and full raid buffs.

That would still be 10% of your (buffed) intellect. So the difference between full buffed manapool with devine intellect compared to a full buffed manapool without devine intellect can be 10%.

But it will always be less then 10% as not of all your mana is gained through intellect which someone stated before in the thread.

Anyway i never trust numbers talk within forums due math and theory mistakes people usual avoid to investigate deeper , but it's different point of view of everyone.
(i am not gnome that get's bonus mana, my mana is based on my intellect), buffs,consumes etc are all Intellect that i gain.

I just said what i have seen in game doing this job during my tanking from the very bottom up to the very top because it was asked .
Never the less it's everyone different choices and opinions.

There is no math involved here and so there is no possible calculation which could be flawed.

You Mana is also based on the mana-bonus which you recieve every single lvl up.

When you ding there is a yellow message in the chat for example:

You gain 25 HP
You gain 11 Mana
You gain 1 Stamina
You gain 1 Intellect

This would result in you getting 26 Mana as 1 Intellect would add another 15 Mana.

So no your Mana is not just based on your intellect.

let say you have 68 intellect unbuffed (example without any intellect gear) + 31 from greater arcane buff by mages + 30 by juju from intellect + elixir of the sages 18 + elixir of greater intellect 25 + mark of the wild 12 + kings 10% .

200 (might be wrong with few numbers) (divine intellect increase this by 20) 300 mana gained compare to extra 5 damage that you increase by improved sor.

5 damage per swing can increase flat 7-8 tp/s as tank which is imo nothing compare to mana pool that you increase/need until the end of fight .

in other hand 300 mana is useful to reseal at least and not getting oom that fast until end of fight.

thus you are more likely to do aoe or holy shield for aggro than sitting with melee swings by sor.


but anyway congratulation if you are willing to waste 5 talent points for flat 5 dmg increase .


If you are retri then i see no need for improved sor since you have seal of command
