They changed it when they did the Hunter DM Tribute farming nerf.

You can still kite no problem, however you need to make sure a ranged hits it with a Rank 1 spell so there is secondary threat.

TL;DR: If you are pally, you are not the off tank of this fight, you are the main tank.

Get initial aggro, rest of melee stays away. When you are conflagged, Drak will run towards healers/ranged, warrior/bear can taunt, once conflag wears off, it will come back to you.

Repeat.

Honestly if boss is working with "2nd" threat , you can be 2nd tank as paladin Tank , since KTM exist and we don't need rage to build our aggro , with good spell damage weapon we will surely be 2nd on threat.

but i agree on either way .

only annoying is the hunter bug and thanks for the rank 1 trick undertaker.

The problem is that after all of hunter kiting thing ends-Hunter pulls, kites drakki in arena or beast room than comes back FD's drakki needs to get taunted because when he comes back healers going to have threat on him. Thats the problem and u guys are still talking if someone has to Main tank him... The problem is initial aggro and I am telling a way to have it from healers and this one retardin comes here and cries about my post lol. Go try it you wont find another way to tank him as pally.

Warrior will taunt and will not do aggro , paladin tank will sotc-consecration-jotc-sor and aggro is on paladin even before boss conflag.

there is no science fiction for that.

p.s it is still annoying if Boss doesn't reset aggro when Hunter FD , because that is real mechanic and this bug is gamebreaking for us Paladin Tanks.

It will insta Conf. warrior and will move to healers thats the problem with paladin tanking U have to eat first conf. and bubble it for stable tank switches or else it will conf. warrior before u build enough aggro and will turn to healers.

Boss will not be affected by Healers , once hunter kite it and move it away from the room , healer aggro is not affected . (they should never heal at the pull) .

is that hard to understand ?

They can't get threat while Drak is is another room for this very reason, so no threat can be on him and he is distracted while the raid group kills his elite guard.

Considering I'm not on PvP server anymore since PvE came out, when are you going to hit 60 on PvE?
