ret is a 2nd rate dps class, you wont be able to compete with the pure dps classes on the meters. best you can hope for is middle of the pact. if you want to excell at dps, pick a hunter/lock/mage/rogue/fury.

ret does less pve dps than rogues, fury, and even cat spec'd feral. in short. they are the lowest melee dps spec

paladins are one of the strongest if not THE strongest healers in the game. play the class to its strengths.

being the most defensive class in the game comes at a cost.

Not sure if I agree on black dragonscale combo vs devilsaur, but either way an awesome list.
Will you upgrade it now, with BWL bis and also inlcude WSG/AB rewards in the previous lists? (if they get a spot)

Much appreciated post, keep up the good work. An improvement (if I may) would be to include the best possible enchants for the pieces. I guess including where to get said items is a bit much, afterall, the digging is kinda fun.

isnt that hit cap pre-raid?
even if you cant get Lionhart, you get everything else listed, and then just go for a neck with +hit (Tirons neck) and Boom hit cap yes?

Even without lionhart, you can still get hit cap, without using dragonscale/Devilsaur.
The Strat plate helm doesn't exist YET, but you can still get the leather hit Helm from strat Live, you can get hit ring from DM Tribute, the hit ring from Av exalted, the hit ring from Mara, The hit neck from EPL quest, the Hit Belt from UBRS, the hit Bracers from UBRS, the Hit shoulders from UBRS.
you dont need the 2 set bonuses from LW to get the hit cap. that was all.

Devilsaur and Dragonscale also provide a decent amount of +crit as well as +hit

All depends if you have the other +hit items mentioned and/or the gold required to buy those 2 sets to maximize the set bonuses.

I have done the calculations many times, and yes, Black DScale provides the highest AP equivalence between STR, AP, Crit, and Hit.

Yes it does and the +Fire Resistance helps against Fire dmg bosses in both MC and BWL for an extra added bonus
