Crusader or Command?

After testing I can confirm SOC is broken.

Currently SOC is dodge blocked parried and resisted.(why it almost never does more damage then physical because higher level mobs resist it)

Before ~1.3 SOC could be dodge blocked and parried but not resisted, after ~1.3 SOC could not be dodge blocked or parried but could be resisted.

As it stands SOC is not working how it should/did in classic and is outputting reduced DPS because of extra checks.
It needs to be brought in line so it functions either pre or post 1.3.

Yes I agree this heavily gimps SoC . Normal hits have 5% chance to be dodged from behind and SoC also has 5% chance to be dodged.
Since dodged normals can't proc SoC this means 44% of normal dodged to have procced SoC (with 3,8 speed 2h) that adds to up to SoCs chance to deal no dmg by another 5x0,66 wich effectivelly raises SoC chance to not deal dmg because of dodged attacks by another 3,3% summing up to 8,8% dmg loss because of Dodges alone. And resisted SoC makes it even worse.

i think this should not dodge at all since at patch says that should not dodge, parry , miss and can resist.

http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Patch_1.3.0

-Seal of Command - The damage effects can now be resisted instead of dodged, blocked, or parried.

still sound weird since there is no evidence regarding this . Still in my opinion should dodge/block/parry if you are not hit cap.

Yes in the current patch it SHOULD NOT be dodged parried etc, but I've seen many times my SoC getting dodged and parried by prot warriors :(.

First , nost always said that they only wanted items to be tuned back. Spells and talents are supposed to be all 1.12.

Smilkovpetko linked a old wiki entry from late vanilla which states that the seal can be dodged, parried etc but not resisted , while the judgement can only be resisted but not parried or dodged.

Even with 100% extra hit on gear, attacks would still be dodged or parried as hit doesn't have any influence on dodge or parry

maybe for "white hits" but not for command because it already have the partial resist.

as we all know that Command is not affected by Glancing Blows - this mean it should NEVER ! ever dodge/parry/miss if you have 8% hit .

How are glancing blows related to the possibility of an attack being parry- or dodgeable.?

Glancing blows are created by the difference of base Weaponskill of the player and base defenserating of a mob and only effects white hits , while parry and dodge etc effect every meele attack. Doesn't matter if it's a white hit or a style like SoC, Mortalstrike or stormstrike or whatever.

Don't know why you mention partial resists .

Partial resists are because "its not affected by glancing blows" and it is Melee Hit , and instead this 1% or 5% chance it convert into "resist" .

If Person have Hit Cap , no matter what . Seal of Command should never ever Dodge/Parry/Block or Miss.

Hey guys, I'm new to Nostalrius and very excited to play Vanilla WoW once again!

A few things about me, I played on Kil'Jaeden & Kilrogg servers in Retail..

60 GM Paladin "Fowler"
&
60 Orc Shaman "Xrave" - The Infamous (=

I decided to reroll Paladin since I know the class like the back of my hand. Plus
There's always better PvP players on the Horde side so I want to go up against
the best of course. I also like killing Shamans, a class that I also know very very
well! Paladin is a powerful PvP class, I could say one of the best but at the same
time requires a lot of skill at post-60.

Anyways I'm wondering if there's any 60 Paladins that have tested sanctity aura
and if it truly adds to SoComm? I'm currently level 33 and just specced into Sanc
Aura.

So far what I can truly confirm, is that sanc aura is currently working for Judgement
Of command, both stunned and unstunned. When it comes to Socomm the damage
Didnt change thus really hard to tell if it truly is working but judging by the Socomm
Crits I'm afraid that it currently is not working for SoComm..

Anyways I am definitely going to hit level 60 and play end game. If you are in a guild
That is planning to raid endgame content and/or PvP then I'm definetely a Paladin
You would want in your team.

My ingame is same as username on Nos Forums.

Regarding asking for guild or something i think you are on wrong topic.

Beside thank you for the knowledge/experience that you share since we need to see the confirmation for that.
