well i just noticed your retri guide drearyyew.
Let me explain you why the guide is bad for PVE Retribution.
As pve if you want to do dps you never go in "warrior" gear. (unless offset items like neck, cloak, finger, trink) .
As pve your main stat is :
(if you are under 26% crit unbuffed)
Intellect > Crit/Agility > Spell damage > Strength/Attack Power
(if you are 26% crit unbuffed)
Intellect > Spell damage > Strength/Attack Power > Agility/Crit
last 6% Crit you gain from Consumes (such as ele sharp stones, buffs, elixirs) .
Crit Cap (you don't need more than this because it is pointless) is 32% . (you will never crit more than 32% in raids due to glancing blows ) .
i see you priority melee gear which is terrible dps . (its only for melee swings) .
But our dps is not Melee Swings. , our dps is the more burst damage we output spamming our max rank abilities on CD.
for this reason we need as much Int Gear as we can get, agility for 26% crit and spell damage for more dps.
this is the reason why you should never enchant anything except agility (to fill the required cap) .
Hit cap you fill by : neck, cloak, fingers (5% from them) and 3% from talent.
even if you lack 1% hit it will not bite you since your dps is based on how much more you are spamming on CD - JoC max rank , consecration and SoC .
http://realmplayers.com/CharacterViewer ... Killerduki(my mace is still bad) but Trinkets are very BiS high end (they scale with sp and procs from our abilities).
This is how PVE retri gear should look like . (see the stats and enchants) . (pay attention to hit rating gear) .
If you want good dps Intellect gear is mandatory as number 1 priority.
Here is evidence how our DPS looks like if you are using the stats and gear that i explained :
https://scontent-vie1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hp ... 8921_o.jpghttps://scontent-vie1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hp ... 9804_o.jpgIntellect is major stat we need so no doubt.
Agility is second stat until we get 26% unbuffed.
1 Spell damage = 2 Strength = 4 Attack Power
1 SP > 3 AP
1 SP < 5 AP
Also you should never use Seal of the Crusade, it is bad and poor DPS.
Judgement of the Crusade - Seal of Command - Max Rank judgement of Command on CD and Consecration as last.
This is the rotation we should always do for maximum dps.
Evidence from Retail Vanilla Retri Paladins :
http://web.archive.org/web/200611102258 ... 1828&sid=1These is one point about playing a paladin though. There are only 3 statistics that improve all aspects of a paladin. These three statistics are Stamina, Intellect, and +Spell Damage. As such, I recommend all paladins try to keep a strong foundation in the first two statistics, and start looking for +Spell Damage gear the moment you turn 60 and it is more easily available to you.
145 intellect = 2175 mana + 10% from divine int = 2392 mana = (almost 4 consecrations) .
200 Strength / 33% = 66 damage to consecration
4 consecrations = 1536 dmg from int vs 66 dmg from str.
136 Spell Damage = 27 damage to Seal of Command
280 Attack Power (140 Strength) = 20 Damage to Seal of Command
280 Attack Power = (assuming 3.5 speed) 70 damage which 15% is reduced by Glancing blows (with human racial) = 60 damage
Judgement of Command = 0 benefit from AP or Str .
Judgement of Command = 136 Spell Damage = 58 Damage
(now back to the gear comparing) .
With the gear on your list you gain :
66 damage on consecration , 20 damage on seal of command , and 60 damage on melee swings.
With the gear that i link you (using spell damage and intellect) i gain :
58 damage on judge of command , 27 damage on seal of command and extra 4 consecrations 1536 damage + 2 trinkets that (maelstrom scale with spell damage) and both proc from our special abilities on cd (15% in combination with melee swings)
Back to your Weapons

(given tested and proved evidence from retail Vanilla back in 2006 1.12 patch)
http://web.archive.org/web/200611141831 ... 's_weaponsThere is list which Weapon gives you the most DPS in comination with what sort of Seal .
Pay attention to :
Calculation hypothesis
* has an uncalculated proc or effect that can potentially increase weapon total dps
