Heads up I have messaged the dev team and Isvv team multiple times about seal of crusader abuse and their view is they dont care so this should now be considered a legitimate dps rotation rather then bug abuse...

Same as they did for :

I will start using it as well.

an example of paladins abusing this broken spell can be seen through talesavo doing over 600 dps on multiple fights

although it is extremely broken and pretty much destroys any rotation the class actually uses it is extremely powerful; given the staffs actions in response to my 6 month old bug reports and constant PM's, it is the intended way in which paladins should work on nostalrius and will yield the highest dps output out of any given rotation:

Not sure why you're accusing me of exploits, I stream all of my MC raid dps fights and I exclusively use Seal of Command, you can come watch me if you'd like, we raid Thurs/Sun/Mon 7PM EST.

Believe me, I'm as frustrated as you guys but we don't need to fight amongst ourselves - we have enough trolls/haters/enemies already.

As far as the bugs go, let's see what the patch notes reveal come ZG being released on Sunday.

Other than that, keep in mind that we have ZERO tier gear with +spell dmg on it (only blue PvP set has it) and we have Seal of Command at 7 PPM but at 70% weapon damage but without any spell dmg to boost it plus the fact that Sanctity Aura isn't boosting SoC either.

Seal of the Crusader as our DPS seal is a decent stop gap until the devs can fix the bulk of our issues so let's see what happens.

Patch Notes :

Respec Holy or gtfo . You never gonna be fixed.

or "protection paladin is junk" and will never get fixed unless naxx (even then maybe).

What exactly is wrong with seal of the crusader? That it is such an extreme abuse that you claim it to be.

- I know the judgement gives ( or at least used to ) too much holy spell power to seal of command.

- I also know it doesn't reduce melee damage like it should.

Though those effects are not used at the same time. So by themselves they are hardly game changing at all.

Let me explain you how it is abused :

1st : it's Judgement Coefficient is not proper. (gives so high damage to Seal of Command )
2nd : It's Damage output is way much higher than it should . (it should decrease each swing by 5%) In Nostalrius it doesn't
3rd : Attack Power scale with Consecration which is incorrect and with SoTc you simple make enormous amount of Damage .

all 3 steps are abusing.

Simple as that ^ .

Okay. Thanks for the clarification on what is wrong with SotC.

How does any of that classify as 'abuse' though? Are we to not use certain moves in order to appease people?

Are we supposed to try to police people by saying "HEY! You can't use judgement of the crusader if you're gonna use Seal of command! The Coefficient is more than it should be!!!!" ?

By all means. I agree with making the bug reports. Though no one should go on a witch hunt against anyone that might be 'abusing' these bugs. Since there is no way to avoid using Nostalrius' incorrect math without taking SotC and consecration off your bars.

it's not abuse because we are merely using our bugged abilities as they are currently on Nostalrius

it is what it is
