Paladin Bug List

The Bug Tracker is somewhat of a pain in the butt and a lot of people with a lot of good information on bugs and exploits are not taking the time to figure it out. I'll be reporting all of these onto the Bug Tracker if you give me all the appropriate information right here in this forum post. Please include details.

Here are some that I know of for Retribution Paladins:

Seal of Command -

1. Able to be dodged/blocked/parried and miss
2. Damage isn't scaling properly as critical strikes should do 2x damage.
3. Benediction talent is not affecting mana cost

Seal of Crusader -

1. There is no "decreased damage" on Seal of Crusader, therefore it is a flat 40% speed increase and +attack power.

The more details the better - Please lets get this going so we can get the posts on the Bug tracker.

SoC damage is not delayed by 0.5seconds so you can sealtwist and it is not affected by the first vengeance proc (if you crit your first hit and get a proc, the delayed proc causes you to benefit from the up to 15%dmg)

Thanks for the info. I'll update these on the bug tracker tomorrow and continue to add future posts.

http://www.wowwiki.com/Consecration

If you look up the patch changes in the bottom of the page you will see:

Patch 2.0.1 (05-Dec-2006): Doesn't scale with attack power anymore.

Patch 3.0.2 (14-Oct-2008): Now scales with attack power and spell power.

So i gues it used to scale with AP in Vanilla.

kickshaw32 wrote:Seal of Justice -

1. Judgment of Justice has no effect on players. It should slow movement speed to regular runspeed, and prevent the afflicted from gaining any other movement speed effects.

Consecration -

1. Consecration is scaling with attack power when in 1.12.1 it was only scaling with spell power. Damage is way too high.

Do you have any sources on any of this? These two points in particular - I don't believe judgment of justice had this effect until TBC. Also this page: http://www.wowwiki.com/Consecration , seems to contradict your statement about Consecration.

Thanks again for the information. This is very useful before I make the bug posts on the tracker.

http://vanilla-wow.wikia.com/wiki/Judgement_of_Justice Link to what judgment of justice should do, not that its not obvious... all you have to do is read the spell, i dont know where this ''its not supposed to limit movement yet'' comes from but anw. Please see it fixed as this spell is vital in pvp.

November 10 2006 (patch 1.12)

®Blizzard Forum

http://web.archive.org/web/200611102258 ... 1828&sid=1

Consecration (1/1), consecrates the land beneath Paladin, doing 64 Holy damage over 8 sec to enemies who enter the area at Rank 1, 384 Holy damage over 8 sec at rank 5 (level 60).
Very nice talent. Free dps, a powerful AoE, and it receives a 33% spelldamage coefficient, which is totally admirable for any Area of Effect spell. Get it if you are going to tier-3 Holy

Pure evidence that Consecration should never scale with Attack power and there is no real evidence for that "neither videos" nothing , as nobody can contradict Blizzard Forums.

Other than that Wowwiki can be edited and not every single information is proper there.

Other Nostalrius Bugs :

Consecration doesn't work when maximum debuff limit , Consecration doesn't tick when two of them occur.

Seal of the Crusader doesn't reduce damage each swing .

Command doesn't delay for Vengeance benefit or twisting seals, Command doesn't benefit from Sanctity Aura , Judgement of Command doesn't benefit from Spell damage , Judgement of command doesn't benefit from Sanctity Aura.

Vengeance doesn't proc from "Spells" and "Trinkets" .

Holy Resistance reduce the damage by Command,Judge of Command when it should not .

Seal of Righteousness is not working proper at all , (doesn't benefit by min/max Weapon damage , doesn't benefit by ap,spell damage coefficient is extremely poor and wrong calculated)

one-handed weapon specialization doesn't increase damage of abilities .

anyway nostalrius seems so sceptic on fixing our bugs.

neither fixing those who are overpowered than should be.

"got just denied" on 2 reports that i released pure and ®Blizzard Forums/Websites as evidences using "web archive viewer" .

Nostalrius is more likely on "favor" people evidences based on assumptions instead clear picture.

p.s i might remove all the reports and evidences if this continue like that.
(because the server is becoming feenixed)

I think someone linked a dev response saying that they try to fix as many bugs as they can but it takes up alot of dev time compared to the staff they have. I think their first priorities are fixing raiding content/new content.

I think as a prot pala you should indeed prepare for the worst. Content can be cleared without all these fixes (which seem to be alot for paladins).

Devs just got to chose things to spend their time on. And like Blizzard they will look to things that affects a large amount of players.
