Paladin professions

Paladin professions

I'm thinking about what professions go with when I make my Paladin. My focus will PvE with Holy Spec. I will ofc do some BGs but it probably will not be my focus.

Mining/Blacksmithing:
This seems to be a must if your focus is PvP for the Mithril Insginia (http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=10418) since Paladins don't get a fear break.
What about for PvE? There appear to be a few items with INT and +healing on them. But is it enough to merit going Blacksmithing for PvE?

Mining/Engineering:
This was my profession on live. Lots of fun but most of the toys are only useful in PvP

Herbalism/Alchemy:
You can make your own potions and flasks. Xmutes can (potentially) be a money maker.

?/Tailoring:
This seems non-viable as the really good healing robe (Truefaith Vestments) is priest only. Listing it just in case I'm missing something. Plus cloth on a paladin is for noobs.

Going for Mining/herb till 60 then switching to alch. Going to make money off of pots and cooking.

I get the impression that a lot of people will pick Alchemy at the end, so the flasks and pots's prices will eventually drop. I'll pick mining and blacksmithing myself.

I'd recommend Enchanting, most of all just to be able to disenchant all items you get in level 60 dungeons. Great way to get initial money and also some enchanting materials for all your enchants and when you start to get mc/bwl recipes you can make tons of money as well

I am going with Enchanting/Mining. Great for having your own enchants, and making money on the side.
