How do i do tankadin?

Just did my first dungeon( Stockades) as a pala tank.

It was a pain getting agro.. I had to HoJ mobs everytime they started chasing DPS and HoJ just wasn't up every time in the end it ended up me spamming max rank heals on myself and DPS so I could actually regain that agro

in short-it was painful. I looked at some threads on here regarding pala tanks and they all say that consecration is mandatory. Is it?I don't have the 11 points for it yet and it will be a while before I can get them. IS it basically impossible to tank later dungeons without consecration?

You cant tank without Consecration. Righteous Fury only applies to Holy Damage, and without Consecration, you will have very little holy damage.

Grab Consecration and use Retribution Aura for aggro generation.

I would recommend getting 11 into holy first for the AOE. it helps

use retribution aura and start "mark targets" if you didn't already chosen consecration.

but i agree go for divine int,divine str,consecration as first 11 points.

use seal and judge of wisdom (if you got that already) and spam aoes . gg

Don't get Div Int. As a tankadin, your INT will be low, and 10% more of low is still low. Get Imp SoR instead for better threatgen.

Totally agree.

Edit: logging over on my tankadin, I got 83 int (71 +12) when I have my pre-raid gear. Not one item has int!
If I were to go div int I would get 10% more int which is what.. 8.3% more int? A huge waste of 5 talent points!

then this 83 intellect + 30 from juju + 31 from brilliant wizard oil + 10% from kings + 13 or more (?) from scroll + 25 from elixir + +++ other stuffs.

200 intellect overall that would be 20 intellect from divine intellect . 200 extra mana = 3 judgements extra used.
Or more mana that can get regen by seal/judge of wisd for squeezing the highest amount of tps by spamming.

5/5 Imp SoR is pretty good too. Most tanks love it, but go with your own playstyle (that is why you have options to choose from)

Using Spell damage weapon with spell damage enchant and spell damage consumes we no longer need any wasted 5 points on "improved seal of righteous" since our maintarget threats will skyrock.

divine intellect in other hand help us have full control on max ranks "consecrations" and spam more often our "holy shields" to survive better.
