Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I was considering if tailoring would be considered a viable profession for holy paladins during leveling but mainly during endgame, primarilly because they much more frequently offer better caster stats. Is the armor going to handicap me severely or not? Will I get the gear I'm looking for?
I would love it if someone whom have tried it him/herself could tell me.
I am assuming that blacksmithing is better when leveling, but my question mainly revolves around the endgame raiding and getting from green gear to epic gear.

There are like 2 crafted items HPalas want, one is from Armorsmithing, and the other is from Tribal LW.

IMO go herb/alch for the consumables which will always be useful, or enchanting which will be raking in gold all the way through Naxx. Crafting falls off pretty hard later outside of a few really strong pieces like Titanic Legplates or Lionheart Helm.
