A tracker for Seal of Command

Hello dear fellow adventurers.
I have just spent my whole morning googleing for an addon that can track how many procs I get with Seal of Command and how often. I'm not even sure if such an addon exists or is even possible.
I know how seal of command works and that its supposed to be about 7 procs per minute and I'm sure everything is fine with the proc rate. But the thing is I often feel like I hit a really dry period. Sometimes I hit mobs for the entire duration of SoC without a single proc. I'm using a fairly fast 2h weapon and I feel like I run out of procs too fast. So I thought maybe if I had a tracker that showed how many procs I've had in the past minute I could work around this by switching seals forth and back.

If anyone has any info about such an addon that works with Nostalrius that would be great!

What is your weapon speed?

PPM in Vanilla is not the "Hard" PPM like we have in retail today, which mandates that if something has 7 PPM, it will proc 7 times every minute guaranteed. In Vanilla, we have "Soft" PPM. What this means is that something like SoC functions off of a base percent chance to proc based on your weapon speed. What this means is that you will definitely see some dry periods, and some other periods where it is proccing like crazy. However, over an extremely large sample size, you will see that you are getting 7 procs per minute.

3.6 Speed is the threshold for Seal of Command. Anything faster, use Seal of the Crusader. Slower, use Command. At 3.6, I prefer Crusader just because it's more consistent dps.

@DreartYew Thank you so much for the in depth explanation. My current weapon speed is 3,2. Wich means SoC is completely useless? That's a bummer.

@Theloras Thanks for that link! It might be just what I was looking for :)

Formula to calculate SoC dps :

((Damage range ((weapon dps + attack power dps) * weapon attack speed) * 0.70 * 7 ppm ) / 60 seconds) * 1+crit%
