That list has items not available in game yet, or features items after the AQ item update, which means those items are in game, but have shit pre-update stats.

That list also doesn't feature BiS gear sets for the various levels of play for players.

Apologies if this is no longer being maintained.

I am curious to the BiS now that ZG has been released.

Obviously certain items will be replaced:
Neck (Jin'do's Evil Eye)
Gloves (Peacekeeper Gauntlets)

But what I am really curious about is the new trinkets:
Zandalarian Hero Charm
Binds when picked up
Unique
Trinket
Use: Increases your spell damage by up to 204 and your healing by up to 408 for 20 sec. Every time you cast a spell, the bonus is reduced by 17 spell damage and 34 healing. (cooldown 2 min)

Mar'li's Eye
Binds when picked up
Unique
Trinket
Use: Restores 60 mana every 5 sec for 30 sec. (cooldown 3 min)

How will those compare along with Rejuvenating gem or Shard of the scale? Obviously (if you can get your hands on it) Rejuvenating gem + Zandalarian Charm seems like the best combination. Or perhaps Rejuvenating gem + Mar'li's Eye (for mana). But that is merely my first impression.

What are your thoughts on this?

Sorry to not reply earlier, I forgot about this thread, but thankfully I have kept my list on my guild forums up to date.

@Gonzo: ZHC is our 3rd best available trinket behind Rejuvenating Gem and Neltharion's Tear, but you should take ZHC over Neltharion's Tear until all of your Casters have Neltharion's for obvious reasons. ZHC is also currently bugged and isn't losing stacks with heals (at least for Paladins, only Consecrate seems to be removing ZHC stacks, I don't know about other classes) so ZHC is a really strong pick up right now. Scrolls of Blinding Light is another pickup that should be really strong as well, but I haven't got my hands in it quite yet.

As for Marli's Eye, I would rather have the Shard of the Scale. If you're using a MP5 trinket it's because you're having mana issues on a longer fight, and Shard of the Scale will give more mana regeneration even if you use Marli's on cooldown. Even Mindtap Talisman out of DM:E will give more mana in the same timespan.



@SV001: Librams are not in game yet, they will be when AQ is released.

@Boonkin: Enchants are fairly straightforward. Whatever gives +Heal or +Int are the best you can get. +MP5 is good at low gear levels, but once you get higher crit levels, MP5 goes out the window. I'll update the OP with the best enchants shortly.

Hey,I want to ask a question, it seems that alot of pally are trying to have more heal power on this server.

Some people told me it's better to get mp5 capped and then get as much intel as possible ( crits=no mana spend.)

What are your tough on that?

Illumination is the exact reason you don't want to get too much MP5. Ideally we stack enough Intellect and Crit to have a large enough mana pool to not need to worry about mana regen. Remember that each point of Spell Crit can be equated to a 1% cost reduction to our healing spells.

Mp5 is a shit stat for Paladins compared to Priests/Druids. You still want some, but you don't want nearly as much as a Priest or Druid wants. Mana isn't an issue for us, making +Healing extremely valuable.
