What do I need to raid.

What do I need to raid.

I am the masterclass. I've been having a lot of fun leveling up and murdering shit as reckoning, but I figure I'm going to have to heal if I want to raid anything. Fine by me, I can heal.

I know I'm going to need preraid BiS, that much is a given. But there's plenty of questions I still need answered.

What do I need as far as supplies go? I imagine I'll need plenty of mana pots, and flasks, what else? What kind of flasks?

what about talents? Should I be fine healing with 25 points in prot, to get reckoning? Or would that be bad. More to the point how many talents in Holy do I actually need to have?

How will I be judged in raids? I know my heals are less powerful than a priests, and I know they're slower, too. How does one know if a holy paladin is good or not? That the tank didn't die? Our HealsPerSecond are just GOING to be less than a priests, aren't they?

I definitely don't want to try to raid with a WoD raiding mindset.

What do I do to know be good at holy, I guess. Thanks.

Someone posted some raid data in another thread. I was surprised to see Paladins winning the top HPS slot quite often. So while Priests still beat us most of the time, we're really not that far behind. And guess who's wearing plate armor instead of robes... ;)
