First 11 points should be holy for consecration, as it lets you fight 2 or more mobs without dieing. It also allows you to tank early dungeons very, very well. After that ret and prot are both decent options. Ret has SoC, prot has reckoning. Use a 2h with either.

Vanilla paladins are much less locked into one spec so spreading your points around is usually the best course of action.

Depend what you aim or enjoy at .

11 To Holy for Consecration.

Later is choice :

Retribution - op for questing , weak for dungeons (good dps but hard getting group) but doable.
Holy - weak for questing , op for dungeons , op for getting group for elites.
Protection - Require skill or at least enjoying in that spec - op for dungeons , weak for questing, op for soloing elites.

Leveling is part of the learning your class process. There is no cookie cutter leveling spec, cuz everyone plays different

All in all, I'm happy with it. Unyielding Faith is totally for PvP only as fear really pisses me off. I'm still undecided whether to go down Holy or Retribution next. There are good arguments for either.

I don't see why you'd ever go 1handed for levelling. Seems a pointless loss of damage.

I'm currently 0/25/3 reckoning spec at 37, mostly because reckoning is amazing for world pvp. For dungeons or just questing I'd go 11/0/17, with a focus on getting conc and SoC asap as those are your biggest damage sources.
