Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

My main is a resto shaman and I basically spam rank 1 chain heal on the melee and up the ranks when I feel it is needed. Did a pug MC (my first raid as a paladin) last night and I felt kind of lost because I don't know what is my efficient heal to spam. They all seem efficient. So I was normally spamming rank 4 holy light. I asked a paladin today what I should use and he said rank 1 flash as filler then jump to full rank flash when needed and like never use down ranked holy light.

I would like more opinions, thanks.

Flash is the most spammed, when your get some descent +healing you can downrank lower and lower, till then use max rank until you have descent healing gear. Don't forget holy light is a nice big heal when things are not working out as intended.
