AoE Levelling spec? :)

Any spec or tips on AoE levelling as a mage?

It's not really worth it since Nostalrius is incredibly populated. I just leveled a mage (currently lvl 56) and I never was alone at a spot for longer than 10 minutes. Especially the really good (and known) spots, like the Pirates in Tanaris or the Murlocs in Dustwallow (or the Orcs on Go'sheks farm in Arathi) are constantly farmed by multiple players.

If you still wanna give it a try, I'd go with something like that. The extra range on blizzard and extra duration on chill effects are really important. Do not get Frostbite, as much as you want to. Its only a disadvantage for aoe leveling.

Fexzz said it best, it's not really worth it to go AoE spec just because there's only so many spots where you can actually do it (won't work well against ranged or caster mobs, the mobs have to be strictly melee, and from there certain abilities and snares can make it not time effective). The big thing is the good spots will likely already be farmed. On top of that you aren't gimped for instances or just regular 1v1, but you are definitely less effective.

i'm playing frost for aoe leveling, the slow to blizzard talent is really op for pulling large groups, they're actually kiteable because of it.
