Anyone else play Elemental Mage?

I was a big vurtune fanboy back in the day and he inspired me to play Ele Mage, it was really fun and challenging back in the day but not sure if I wanna play that style again now.

Anyone flexing that build? I've only seen frost mages, not even a single pom pyro.

I'm planning on playing with elemental once I'll be there for sure, that was one fun of a spec.

First of all I want to make clear that this is my opinion, based on my playstyle and it might not be true.

I believe that the current version of the gear doesn't support elementalist, 1.3 gear lacks intelect and Spell Damage which are the keys of elementalist, if you can't burst someone inside nova and then kill them with max 2 more scorches then the spec doesn't work IMO and the worst thing about the current gear is that you're OOM at that point anyway.
I don't believe that it's on the same level efficiency like Frost is atm. Deep frost can deal more consistent damage, with better survivability and better mana management..

On a later patch tho (1.4 Best Case, 1.9 Worst Case) with a bit more gear or at least better stats on R10 gear I would go Elementalist in a heartbeat.

Oom too fast, die too fast, not even close to killing fast enough to make it worth.

Hopefully they will finally release the better patch for it.
