Any bugs/quirk with the mage class?

For things like talents, spells, or resist mechanics... are there any problems with the mage class (on this server) as far as not being truly blizzlike?

One thing I can see is resist rates in pvp against higher level opponents. It seems ridiculously hard to hit someone even 4-5 levels above. This makes BG's unplayable as a mage unless you are lvl 19/29/39/49/59/60. I dont necessarily think mages should be able to easily kill people 5+ lvl's higher, I am just saying this is not blizzlike.

I didn't want this to turn into a resist thread though, so are there any other strange problems with the mage class on the server, or (other than pvp resists) is the mage class pretty much identical to old 1.12.1 WoW?

PS: I do notice some mobs in silverpine have unusually high frost resist rates as well, like the Dalaran Apprentices and Whitescalp Worgen just outside of Sepulchre. I miss 90% of my frostbolts on them even at the same level or slightly higher than them. I don't remember that being a problem on any of the mages I've levelled in original WoW.

Resists seem to be working how I remember them in vanilla, I can't think of anything major that works differently from how I remembered back in vanilla

Impact stun stops procing at the higher levels, waste of 5 points if your 60 atm. I'm not trying to exagerate, but it never procs against a 60 target, however it procs against lower levels correctly.

The berserking racial for troll always gives 5% cast speed instead of the minimum 10% its supposed to give.
