Alliance Mage quest BUG: Investigate the Blue Recluse

The Mage quest: 'Investigate the Blue Recluse' you receive from Jennea Cannon in the Stormwind Mage Quarter is currently bugged/glitched.

No one seems able to secure the items from the nearby desk into their inventory to continue the quest.

Is this known? Also, is this an important Mage quest?

I am also having this problem. I'm sure it was fine before the AV implementation, as I had also leveled a mage at that time and completed the quest.

For any who are still having trouble with this quest; I have just submitted an Artefact on the Nostalrius bugtracker. In time, the staff will hopefully come around to fixing the quest.

I can't even pick up this quest, it is level 15 right? I talked to the mage in goldshire inn, and the mages in the tower in stormwind, I can't seem to pick it up, help?

You get it from a Mage Trainer in the Mystic Ward of Ironforge. It asks you to go see a Mage trainer in Stormwind.

I've done it yesterday, and it is finishable, works almost as intended (there is minor bug, that I've reported).
