Frost mage pvp spec 1/0/50

I asked around for a good frost mage spec and someone told me 1/0/50. Is this a joke? Can someone recommend me a build that good players use, thank you!

Its functional for ganking people who don't have trinket, and can't interrupt you or break your nova.


Run up to them, nova them, Frost bolt, Cone, Fire Blast. That combo alone on my mage deals like 3000 damage, if the nova, and bolt crit, and the FB just regs. That'll completely trash a caster.


Its also good for farming, so it functions for two things.

It's not really good for serious pvp. Maybe just against melee and hunters, but that's about it.
