Server up or down? ...stuck at connecting.

To anyone who has the answer.

Have the servers been up this morning afternoon? It would be great to have a notification telling whether or not the server is up or down, thus I would at least be able to know if I should be able to login.

Yesterday I could login and play with out incident, but today I have been stuck at the "connecting" stage of the login. I have explored all the regular errors that can occur, but to no avail.
I am playing on a MacBookPro and using the 1.12.1 OS X version of the game. Do anyone have suggestions? I have even tried reinstalling everything so that the game was identical to the installation yesterday.

Are anyone currently playing, or have been for the last 5/6 hours? Do anyone know how to resolve the problem?

I was on until about 10 minutes ago. Got disconnected, can't reconnect since. There have been major stability problems the last couple of days.
