Just wondering if you could officially make a statement on forums due to the issues around server downtime over the last week. Namely, is Nostalrius experiencing overload or DDOS attacks, or is some other issue causing the downtime? There is an active community here who love the server and would love to be able to help with stability in any way possible - please remember that keeping players in the dark will only lead to the hemorrhaging of the player base. WoW is almost unplayable at the moment in most longer duration instances - most players d/cing will choose not to reconnect due to the frequency of the issue.

We love nostalrius and want to see it succeed.
Please dont alienate us by not giving us information. we are adults and are happy to wait if we simply have any info on what is causing the issues. Draw on the technical expertise of your player base by advertising in forums. We want to help it be solved and smooth as much as you all must do as your passion project.

As well, dont go down the same path as feenix. The ghost towns of those previous servers should be strong lessons for you guys as what NOT to do this time around. Dont let nostalrius suffer the same fate. Keep your player base in the loop.

Nostalrius simply does not have enough administrators and developers that would be active at this time, considering over at France, it's midnight and everyone's asleep.
