Current Server Status

I looked in Support and Announcements.

I am not finding any info that could save a lot of people frustration and unnecessary troubleshooting steps.

Where Do we find Current Server Status?

Is it Up? Down? ETA?

I understand and appreciate the effort and time that is involved with a project such as this.

Is it feasible to note something on status in the log on screen?

I think a "current server status" is a minimum.
How are we supposed to know that the server is in maintenance ?
