Generalchat, Tradechat, etc.

Hello everyone,

I am german and I played on a german vanilla server before this one opened. This server had of course a german client and I can play with this client also on the Nostalrius server. Now it is kind of mixed up.
My spells are in german, the items are in english and the stats on the items are german and so on.
This is no problem because i can speak and read both languages.

Now there is a huge problem though.
In the german client the channels are different and looks like this:

General->Allgemein
Trade->Handel
Guild Recruitment->Gildenrekrutierung
Local Defense(?)->Lokale Verteidigung

The problem is that i can't read what people write in the "General"-Chat because i am in the "Allgemein"-Chat. I tried to /join General but this doesn't work. At the moment i am Level 14 but when it comes to "LFM/LFG" i can't see that people are searching for others to go deathmines for example.

The only thing i can read are the messages from people with the german client BUT even most of the germans use the english client.

Is there any other way to join these channels without deinstalling my german wow and installing the english one?

Most likely not. The best solution is probably to get the English client since it tends to work better with private servers.
