Servers down?

Just finished my 5 hour download to play for the first time and the world servers have been down for the past 2 hours. Is this typical? Any news...>?

I hope a 5 gig file didn't really take 5 hours However, check the getting started forum. There's a lot of useful information there. Also check the "how to play" tab on the main page. There's a link in the getting started forum that will take you to the nostalrius download client and the realm list will have already been edited to connect to nost but if it's another 1.12 client you will need to edit it yourself. Check those places out first though because you will most likely find your answer in a sticky.
