Dubious guild names.

Here's something that's been on my mind recently. There are so many questionable guild names going around on this server, and it feels like very little is being done about it.
The most obvious ones get removed of course, but there are a few who are threading on a very thin line, and can be quite offensive.

One of those is the guild called "Blood and Honor". Now, for most people that doesn't sound very weird. But what you should know, is that Blood & Honour is one of the biggest neo-nazi organisations in the world. And as if that wasn't enough, the organisation has a long history of violence, and several murders conducted in it's name.

I have on several occasions asked members of this guild if they are aware of the connections, but no one ever replies me. This is the reason why I'm taking it here to the forums.

The orcs say "Blood and thunder!" and "Strength and honour!" - Not "Blood and honour".


As for Chris Metzen, I couldn't possibly know. It's probably a coincidence. That does not make it any less inappropriate, however.

Look, if you plan to bar this guild, you'll have to rename other guilds for even more pointless reasons. Guilds like <ISIS> were basically on the list because they knew they were doing wrong with their guild name based on how much the media has said about the group recently.

If you're truly offended by this group, you'll have to run over <Dankk Budz Collective> for advertising drugs, <Coalition> based on its meaning and how it could harm others, <Endzeit> "last days" / "end of the world" for advertising a potential end to Nostalrius, <Organ Harvest> for basically being cannibalistic, <Durotar Socialist Party> for including politics in WoW, <KGB> because it has bad reputation in Russia, <Naga Stole my Bike> Naga = N word, <Team Blackout> for promoting blackouts on the use of drugs, <Dirty son of a lich> for another play on words, <Divergent> for copyright reasons, <Blood and Tsundere> for another play on words, <Ridin Dirty> for copyright reasons, <Pizza Sluts> for "sluts" in the name, <Retarded> for obvious reasons, <Intoxicated> for drugs, <trolling stoned> for drugs, and plenty more.

If you're complaining about a political and genocidal group, you have to do them all. These are all against the rules and should be in the queue for renames since they're not adhering to the Terms of Use.
